Renovation gives a house a second life.

It’s Christmas time and New Year celebration too. I was thinking to renovate my property which is lying alone at the end of the town. Obviously, it can be rented out,  as a guest house, as it has a wonderful location beside the sea. The terrace is having the beautiful view of the entire horizon and the sea. All my friends or family, who have visited them, always tells me to let them visit again. But I don’t allow them nowadays. You may be wondering about the reason.

No worries, I will share the reason with you. The condition of my bungalow is not proper. The walls have gone with much damp and the floors are also not in a live in position. The major reason being they are not maintained, as we do not find proper manpower, in such remote area, to look after it. Moreover, property in a sea gets damped easily because of the salty weather.

Whatsoever, this time, while paying property tax, I have made up my mind to repair this bungalow and repurpose it for a good reason. At least, the rent received would justify the tax, which is paid yearly. I called a professional team to have an audit of my entire house and they gave a report including the roof and the walls, the floors and even the garden area.

The team is known with speciality of Flooring Chesterton or drywall Repair Chesterton. They identified my floors to be repaired. As the walls were left unattended, small cracks resulted to  big cracks, so they advised drywall repair, and guaranteed one year of free labour services, in case any issues arises, after their treatment. Secondly, the team also suggested some remodelling of the garden area. As the new era suggests some place for partying and lounge for younger generations and that would make my property more attractive. Lastly, they completed their work and the property is available to stay with from January 1st in the New Year.
